Life Lessons from Books: Best Wisdom, Stories, and Everyday Adventures

Hey there! My fellow readers! Do you have any idea about the books I am going to chat about?

Come along; let’s sneak peek into my realm of escapade! My Books!

I am not going to narrate or summarize these books.  Instead, just want to share the core things I have gained from these extraordinary writings – Harper Lee’s “To Kill a Mockingbird” , Paulo Coelho’s “The Alchemist,”  Think Straight by Darius Foroux

These aren’t just stories; no fancy stuff’s – just good vibes and life lessons which all of us can totally relate to.

To Kill a Mockingbird – Be a Human

Firstly one of my most favourite “To Kill a Mocking Bird”

Atticus Finch is basically the dad we all wish we had. Courage in Solitude He stands up against injustice, even when it is tough. Among the whole bunch of racists, he stood up alone for Justice. The value of this character is – Be that stand-up human, even if it means standing alone.

Walk in Others’ Shoes – Scout, the kid in the story, a young girl learning about empathy. When I was rereading this book, I thought what I was doing at that age? She walked in Boo Radley’s shoes and saw the world through his eyes.

This is a one of an eye opener in my life. Instead of being judgmental, first, try to understand others. Just think a minute to walk in their shoes before passing a comment.

The Alchemist: Embrace Your Journey

Secondly, one of the well known “The Alchemist” Listen to Your Heart – A young shepherd name Santiago who just follows his heart, literally. The journey of him teaches us many values; one main thing is – follow your heart, your innermost desires. It’s quite difficult in real life. Yet, it’s possible.

“The soul knows its way, even when the mind is Uncertain”

When Santiago met crystal merchant, an unexpected turning happened in his trip – Every Detour is a Discovery.  That in turn enhanced his quest. Similarly, our unexpected paths can lead to invaluable discoveries.

Our life is a bit like that, right? Most of the time it is unplanned. So, Embrace the detours; you may find the very essence of your personal legend.

Think Straight: Simplify Your Thinking

There are lot of takeaways in this small book. Key things which inspired me as an over thinker are,

Focus on what truly matters. Ever tried managing a dozen things and feeling like nothing has been progressive? – Focus on What Matters .Thinking straight is like putting those extra balls down, focusing on the important ones.

Most of my life, thoughts were out of control and its never ending. If I draw my thoughts as Foroux said, it’s a complete mess.  Most of the complex problem has simple solution. Simplicity Wins – That’s the beauty of thinking straight; it’s clarity in a world of confusion.

The Real-Life Stuff, in a nutshell

Santiago’s persistence, Atticus’s courage, Scout’s empathy and Foroux’s call to action—they’re like the friends cheering you on in a marathon. Slow and steady, my friends!

Win the every game of your life along with the essence of empathy! Because, most of the time world forgets to be kind.

Embrace your Journey!
